As always, thank you so much to everyone for the outpouring of support Island Health & Wellness has received since the hurricanes hit! It has been a long two+ months, but we have made great progress at Island Health and as an island as a whole.
Unfortunately, the damage at our Palm Plaza location was so significant that we will not be able to rebuild. So, we found a new home across the street! We have moved into our new permanent location in Greenleaf Commons. We are located above St. John Market (a few doors down from Merchants Bank) in the former Drift Away Spa location. It is wonderful space and we are really looking forward to the opportunity to grow there.
We are currently finishing up a small renovation project to accommodate the needs of our patients and plan to reopen on Monday, November 20th! I will post the hours as we get a little bit closer and can better determine the needs of the community. We will be accepting appointments and taking walk-ins, however since our phone is not working, patients will need to stop by to make an appointment until we can get a temporary phone working.
We rely solely on donations and grants to keep our doors open and treat patients. Once again, we are asking for your help as the financial burden of the destruction and the relocation process has been vast. We charge a small $50 fee to patients to be seen, as most of our patients are uninsured. However, no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Due to the economic strain the hurricanes have put on all residents of St. John, we expect the majority of patients will not be able to pay and therefore we need even more help. If you are able to donate, please go to the donate page on our website or mail checks to:

All donations are fully tax-deductible.
Thank you everyone for your continued support and patience as we rebuild! We look forward to getting our doors open!
